The Heart Behind viralsfk.com

Emma, founder and recipe developer of viralsfk.com

Hi there! I’m Emma, a passionate home cook, recipe developer, and the founder of viralsfk.com. Welcome to my little corner of the internet, where good food is always the main event.

My love for cooking didn’t start in a culinary school or a professional kitchen. It started at home, standing on a step stool next to my grandmother as she stirred pots of slow-simmered sauces and rolled out dough by hand. Those early mornings in her kitchen taught me something I carry with me to this day: food is so much more than what’s on the plate. It’s memory, love, comfort, and creativity all rolled into one.

How viralsfk.com Started

For years, cooking was my personal escape. After long days at work, I’d come home and lose myself in the rhythm of chopping, seasoning, and tasting. Before long, I was the friend everyone texted for a recipe, and my notebook of family dishes and kitchen experiments kept growing.

I started sharing photos of my meals with friends and family, and their enthusiasm pushed me to take things further. In 2024, I launched viralsfk.com with one simple goal: to turn the recipes I love, and the trending dishes everyone is talking about, into clear, reliable instructions that anyone can follow at home.

The name says it all. I love the viral recipes that take over social media, from Dubai chocolate bars to Japanese soufflé pancakes. However, I also know that a 30-second video rarely tells you how to actually make them. So I test them, simplify them, and write them up properly, alongside the comforting classics I grew up with.

Milestones Along the Way

  • 2024: viralsfk.com is founded as a home for tested, easy-to-follow recipes.
  • 2026: the site passes 75 published recipes across eight categories: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Soup, Desserts, Drinks, Snacks & Appetizers, and Pasta.
  • 2026: every recipe now includes a printable recipe card with prep and cook times, US and metric measurements where useful, and estimated nutrition.

How I Develop and Test Every Recipe

Every recipe on this site follows the same process before it is published:

  • Research: first, I study the dish, its origins, and how it is traditionally made.
  • Kitchen testing: next, I cook it in my own kitchen and adjust quantities, timings, and techniques until it works reliably.
  • Clear writing: then I write step-by-step instructions, with tips for the most common mistakes and easy swaps for different diets.
  • Recipe card: finally, every post ends with a printable card listing ingredients, steps, times, servings, and estimated nutrition.

Our Editorial Standards

I want you to be able to trust what you read here. That is why I follow a few simple rules:

  • Sources are cited. When an article includes a statistic or a historical fact, it links to its source, such as government agencies, universities, or industry organizations.
  • Nutrition is an estimate. Nutrition values are calculated from standard ingredient data and are meant as a helpful guide, not medical advice.
  • Photos are credited. When a photo comes from a photographer outside this site, their name is credited under the image.
  • Corrections are welcome. If you spot a mistake, please let me know and I will fix it promptly.

Reader Favorites to Start With

My Cooking Philosophy

I cook real food for real people. No overly fancy techniques, no hard-to-find ingredients, no intimidating processes. Just honest, flavorful recipes that fit into real life, because that’s exactly what cooking should be.

I’m also a firm believer that cooking is one of the most powerful forms of self-care. There’s something deeply satisfying about nourishing yourself and the people you love with food you made from scratch.

Beyond the Kitchen

When I’m not developing recipes or photographing my latest creation, you’ll find me exploring local markets in search of seasonal ingredients, watching food documentaries, collecting vintage cookbooks, or planning my next food-inspired trip. I also believe the best conversations happen around a table, preferably with even better food.

Let’s Connect

I’d love to hear from you! Whether you’ve tried one of my recipes, have a question, or simply want to say hello, my inbox is always open.

Thank you for being here. Now, let’s get cooking!
